Angkasa Pura Airport Will Serve The Return Of 216,000 Hajj Pilgrims

JAKARTA - The period of flight return or debarkation of pilgrims from Saudi Arabia to the country has started since last week.

PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports) through 13 airports managed will serve as many as 216,000 Hajj pilgrims' return.

President Director of InJourney Airports Faik Fahmi said the process of debarkation of Hajj pilgrims at 13 airports managed by Angkasa Pura Airport will be carried out in stages from Saturday, June 22 to Monday, July 22.

Faik said that Hang Nadim Batam Airport was the first airport to serve the return of pilgrims, marked by the landing of 448 pilgrims who were members of the Batam 1 group on Saturday, June 22 afternoon at 17.40 WIB.

Faik said, InJourney Airports through its 13 airports had ensured the readiness of airports, especially those related to airport infrastructure, operational procedures, and services for Hajj pilgrims upon arrival at the airport.

"InJourney Airports also actively continues to coordinate with all relevant agencies to ensure that the services for the return of the pilgrims can run smoothly, safely, and comfortably," he said.

In the period of debarkation, Soekarno-Hatta Airport Tangerang is scheduled to serve the most pilgrims' returns, namely 53,703 pilgrims who are members of 128 groups. The debarkation process at Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Tangerang begins on June 22, and is scheduled to end on July 21.

In full, the airports that began serving the return of pilgrims on June 22 were Juanda Airport Surabaya with 106 batches, Hang Nadim Batam Airport with 28 batches, and Zainuddin Abdul Madjid Airport Lombok with 13 batches.

Then, the airport that started serving the return of the pilgrims on June 23 was Adi Soemarmo Airport Solo with 100 batches, Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar with 46 batches, Kertajati Majalengka Airport with 30 batches, Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport Palembang with 19 groups, and Syamsudin Noor Airport Banjarmasin with 19 groups.

Bandara Minangkabau Padang sebanyak 17 klotter dan Bandara Kualanamu Medan sebanyak 25 kloster akan melayani kepulangan jemaah haji secara bertahap yang dimulai pada 24 Juni, serta Bandara SAMS Sepinggan Balikpapan akan melayani kepulangan 19 kloster yang dimulai pada 25 Juni.

Finally, Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport Banda Aceh will serve the return of 12 new pilgrims on July 10, "he explained.
