JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has begun to auction off the IKN Section 1B Toll Road construction project, namely the Sepinggan Airport Segment-Tol Balikpapan- Samarinda (Balsam).

Quoting information shared on the PUPR electronic procurement service (LPSE) website, the total value of the IKN 1B toll road project reached IDR 3.8 trillion, sourced from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN).

"In accordance with the plan to build the State Capital (IKN) in East Kalimantan Province, the Ministry of PUPR through the Center for the Implementation of the East Kalimantan National Road to build the Toll Road Section 1B of Sepinggan-Toll Airport, Balsam," wrote the Ministry of PUPR in the auction document, quoted Wednesday, June 19.

The full period of implementation of the project work will last for 510 calendar days. Calculated from the start of the work date as stipulated in the Work Start Order (SPMK).

The term of the work includes the completion of the work except for the maintenance of road and bridge performance.

In line with this, the Ministry of PUPR has set the auction schedule for the 1B Segment IKN toll road project to enter the pre-qualification stage today, June 19, 2024. Meanwhile, the announcement of the pre-qualification results will fall on June 28, 2024.

If the auction process runs smoothly, the winner will be determined on July 19, 2024 and the winner will be announced on July 25, 2024, while the signing of the contract will be carried out on August 1, 2024.
