BSI Will Pay Dividend Of IDR 855.56 Billion On June 20, 2024

PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) will pay cash dividends for the 2023 financial year amounting to IDR 18.55 per share or a total of IDR 855.56 billion on June 20, 2024.

The nominal dividend distributed by the issuer of the bank coded BRIS shares increased by 100 percent compared to the 2022 financial year which was valued at Rp9.24 per share. The dividend distribution was carried out following the decision of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) last May.

"The company's net interest in 2023 is IDR 5.7 trillion and the AGMS stipulates the use of net profit of 15 percent of the company's net profit in 2023 or around IDR 855.56 billion is divided into dividends," said BSI President Director Hery Gunardi through his statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Thursday, June 13.

Hery said this indicates the company's solid performance in 2023. Apart from dividends, 20 percent of net profit is also set aside as mandatory reserves. While the rest is allocated as retained earnings.

Dividend recipients for the 2023 financial year include shareholders such as Bank Mandiri, BNI, and BRI who have a composition of 51.47 percent, 23.24 percent and 15.38 percent, respectively. Meanwhile, public ownership is 9.91 percent.

Based on information disclosure, cash dividends will be distributed to the Company's shareholders whose names are listed in the List of Shareholders (DPS) or recording date on May 31, 2024 and/or the Company's shareholders in the PT Kustodian Secentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) securities account at the close of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) trading on May 31, 2024.

Meanwhile, BRIS's stock movement throughout the year 2024, the company noted, was very impressive. Until the close of trading on Wednesday (12/6), BRIS's year-to-date (YtD) share increase reached 23.56 percent. As for the whole year 2024, the BRIS price range is in the range of IDR 1,740-IDR 2,850.
