Gerindra Politician Siti Nurizka Becomes Komut Pusri, Boss Of Pupuk Indonesia: Definitely The Best

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) Rahmad Pribadi opened his voice regarding the determination of Gerindra politician Siti Nurizka Puteri Jaya who was appointed as President Commissioner of PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja (Pusri) Palembang.

Meanwhile, PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja (Pusri) Palembang itself is a subsidiary of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero). The determination of Siti Nurizka as Komut Pusri Palembang was determined at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) on Monday, June 10.

Rahmad said, as a state-owned company whose shares are owned by the government, in this case, the Ministry of SOEs, will always follow the decisions taken by shareholders.

Furthermore, Rahmad also said that the decision taken by the Ministry of SOEs in the placement of the position of Komut Pusri Palembang must have been considered properly.

"We follow whatever decision from the Ministry of SOEs. And I believe 100 percent of the policies taken by the Ministry of SOEs are definitely the best for SOEs," said Rahmad when met at JCC Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, June 13.

Furthermore, Rahmad also did not mind Siti Nurizka, who has the background of a former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives to sit in the position of Komut Pusri.

"It is impossible for SOEs to take something that is not in accordance with the rules, norms and regulations. So we support the decision of the SOE decision, God willing, it will have added value for Indonesia," he said.

Previously, the Special Staff (Staffsus) of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Arya Sinulingga, confirmed that Siti Nurizka Puteri Jaya was no longer a member of the DPR after being appointed as President Commissioner (Komut) of PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja (Pusri) Pelembang.

For your information, Siti Nurizka Puteri Jaya herself was previously a member of Commission III of the DPR RI. He is also a cadre of the Gerindra Party.

"It is impossible for people who have not resigned to be appointed or have multiple political positions. It is not permissible for political party officials, it is impossible for members of the DPR, it is impossible, he has resigned," he said at the Ministry of SOEs Office, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 12.

Arya said that Siti Nurizka's presence would strengthen the supervisory function of the board of commissioners in overseeing the company's business processes.

"And he used to be in Commission III. So I think the commissioning at the commissioner also has a part for things like that. Understand him, let alone already know the intricacies of the law, and so on. And strengthening in Pupuk Sriwidjaja is also like that," he explained.
