Sri Mulyani Proposal For The 2025 Kemekeu Budget Reaches IDR 53.19 Trillion

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) proposed an indicative ceiling for the 2025 fiscal year of IDR 53.19 trillion at a working meeting with Commission XI of the DPR RI with an agenda of discussing the RKA and RKP of the Ministry of Finance in 2025.

"We submit the proposed BA 15 indicative ceiling of the Ministry of Finance for the 2025 budget, the Ministry of Finance's indicative ceiling for 2025 to be approved of IDR 53.19 trillion," said Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati in a meeting held at the DPR RI Building, Monday, June 10.

Sri Mulyani explained that based on the source of the funds consisting of pure rupiah amounting to Rp42.78 trillion, Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) of Rp21.76 billion, grants of Rp7.24 billion and Public Service Agency (BLU) of Rp10.37 trillion.

Meanwhile, based on the function of public services of Rp. 48.87 trillion, for economic functions of Rp. 251 billion and education functions of Rp. 4.06 trillion.

"Most of it is for services because we are in direct contact with the community, interacting through various programs ranging from fiscal policy programs, state revenues, state expenditures, state wealth treasury and risk and management support. This is a total of IDR 48.78 trillion," he explained.

Sri Mulyani explained, the economic function consists of a state revenue program of Rp. 8.07 billion and a management support program of Rp. 243.72 billion.

Then in the education function, there is a management support program of IDR 4.06 trillion.

According to Sri Mulyani, the Ministry of Finance's 2025 work plan is designed to support the acceleration of inclusive and sustainable economic growth, especially through healthy fiscal management.

Sri Mulyani said the budget would be focused on five main programs. First, for fiscal policy programs and the financial sector amounting to Rp331.47 billion. Second, for the state revenue program of Rp21.08 trillion. Third, for the state expenditure program of Rp262.06 billion.

Furthermore, fourthly, for treasury programs, state assets, and risks of IDR 2.64 trillion. Finally, for the management support program of IDR 50.47 trillion.
