Bank Mandiri Distributes Rp2 Trillion Credit Facility To TOWR Subsidiaries

JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) provided credit facilities to the subsidiaries of PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR), namely PT Professional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Protelindo) and PT Iforte Solusi Infotek (Iforte).

Bank Mandiri Senior Executive Vice President Corporate Banking Mochamad Rizaldi explained, in total the facilities provided to two subsidiaries of PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk are worth IDR 2 trillion.

Later the facility will be used for the company's business expansion needs, including refinancing to accelerate business performance growth.

Meanwhile, in providing this credit facility, PT Solusi Tunas Pratama Tbk (SUPR), which is also a subsidiary of PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk, acts as a guarantor. This credit facility is valid for 3 years since the signing of the Credit Agreement, namely on May 30, 2024.

Bank Mandiri hopes that this collaboration can support the business growth of the two companies and help accelerate business growth in the telecommunications sector.

"This support not only provides the necessary financial access, but reflects Bank Mandiri's confidence in the growth of the telecommunications sector as one of the main pillars of advances in information technology in Indonesia," Rizaldi said in his official statement, Tuesday, June 4.

As for the details, the credit facility is divided into two, namely tranche A amounting to Rp1.5 trillion for Protelindo and tranche B amounting to Rp500 billion to Iforte.

Rizaldi hopes that this facility can support PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk through its subsidiaries, to continue to innovate, improve services, and expand reach to provide wider benefits to the community.

"With the synergy between the financial and telecommunication sectors, this can certainly accelerate economic growth and technological advances in the country," he concluded.

For information, until the end of April 2024, Bank Mandiri has disbursed loans to the telecommunications sector amounting to IDR 30.7 trillion.

This realization grew by almost 40 percent when compared to the same period the previous year or year on year (yoy).

Bank Mandiri assessed that, along with solid economic growth and increasing community needs, the telecommunications sector will continue to record positive growth.
