Menpan RB Disbursed Several Scenarios For Transferring ASN To IKN In The Initial Stage

DENPASAR - Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPAN-RB) said, there were several scenarios that had been prepared for the transfer of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) to the capital city of the archipelago (IKN).

This was revealed by the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas while accompanying the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) when launching a number of innovations related to the digitization of electronic land services in Bali Province, on Tuesday, May 21.

"We have made several scenarios for (transfer) ASN to IKN. Of course, the last one is adjusted to residential readiness for ASN. First, the scenario is 14,000, scenario 11,000, scenario 6,000 and finally scenario 3,216. Later, we will adjust it to housing at IKN," he said.

Currently, the government is known to have prepared several scenarios for the initial transfer of ASN. However, said Anas, the transfer of ASN is no longer only based on his ministry, but based on echelon.

"The government has prepared several scenarios. It is no longer only based on the ministry, but based on echelon 1, echelon 2 and echelon 3," he said.

When asked further whether the initial transfer of ASN will still be carried out in September 2024, Anas could not confirm it.

"The President's directive (Jokowi) may be after the ceremony (17 August), yes," he added.

As previously reported, the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPAN-RB) is currently working on the most ideal scheme for the transfer of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) to the capital city of the archipelago (IKN). It is possible that ASN transfer will begin in September 2024.

This was conveyed by the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas at a press conference 'Skema for the Transfer of ASN to the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN)' at the Kominfo office, Jakarta, Wednesday, April 17.

Anas said, there was a slight change in the schedule from what was planned earlier. This is because the residences of ASN will be used first for the residences of ceremony officers.

"In July, he will move to IKN, so some of the ministers in July moved, including Pak Basuki. For ASN because in August there will be a ceremony at IKN and the support system is very large, there are also thousands of people who not only come but spend the night. So, we received directions from the palace that the transfer was gradual, but ASN will start moving after August," said Anas.
