SIG Distributes Aid And Compensation In 7 Provinces In The Ramadan 1445 H Safari Series

JAKARTA - PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) is again holding a Safari Ramadan activity to strengthen friendship with the community and stakeholders in all operational areas of the Company. This Ramadan 1445 H Safari activity will be held from Tuesday 19 April to Saturday 6 April.

In a series of Ramadan 1445 H Safari activities, SIG provided various assistance to the community around the Company's operations in Aceh Province, West Sumatra, South Sumatra, West Java, Central Java, East Java, and South Sulawesi.

The assistance was given in the form of 14,060 basic food packages, compensation for 2,160 orphans and two-fa, compensation for 159 people with disabilities, school supplies for 900 orphans, Eid al-Fitr gifts for 800 religious and community leaders, to operational assistance for 16 mosques and prayer rooms.

GIS President Director, Donny Arsal said, Safari Ramadan SIG is a routine activity organized by GIS to strengthen friendship with the community and stakeholders in all operational areas that have been the support system for the smooth operation and business processes of the Company.

The various assistance provided is a form of social concern and a sign of SIG's love for the community around the Company's operations which is expected to provide benefits in meeting the needs during Ramadan and the celebration of Eid al-Fitr. Hopefully, the harmony that has been built so far can continue to be well established," said Donny Arsal.

The series of Ramadan SIG Safari Activities in Gresik Regency, East Java, GIS provides compensation for 500 orphans, 115 food packages and TPQ teacher allowances, 160 basic food packages for two, 100 basic food packages and compensation for persons with disabilities, as well as operational assistance for 8 mosques and prayer rooms.

In addition, the Tuban Factory GIS, East Java, also provided assistance with 7,500 food packages, compensation and school supplies for 900 orphans, as well as 800 packages of Eid al-Fitr parcels for religious and community leaders.

A subsidiary of GIS, PT Semen Padang also provided a variety of assistance, including compensation for 130 orphans, compensation for 43 people with disabilities, and 270 Ramadan Care packages in West Sumatra. Meanwhile, in South Sumatra, PT Semen Baturaja Tbk provides compensation for 350 orphans and two people, compensation for 16 people with disabilities, 2,000 food packages, and equipment assistance for 8 mosques.

Meanwhile, PT Semen Gresik in Rembang Regency provided takjil assistance for a number of mosques around the Company, gifts for two-fa, religious leaders, and community leaders, as well as compensation for orphans. Then in South Sulawesi, PT Semen Tonasa held a breaking of fast with 546 orphanage children, retirees, Forkopimda, and regional officials around the Company.

Meanwhile, PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk (SBI) Tuban Factory, Cilacap Factory, Narogong Factory, and Lhoknga Factory, distributed 2,700 food packages, 20 snack packages, 102 takjil packages, 34 packages of worship facilities in mosques, and 101 dozens of circles.
