Free Homecoming Title, ID FOOD Departs Hundreds Of Homecomers To 4 Main Destination Cities

JAKARTA - Food SOE Holding ID FOOD supports the government's program in realizing a safe and comfortable 2024 homecoming. This is done through the participation of ID FOOD in the Fun Homecoming program with SOEs 2024 which is carried out by the Ministry of SOEs by dispatching 300 travelers to 4 destination cities.

ID FOOD President Director Frans Marganda Tambunan said this year ID FOOD again provides free homecoming facilities for the public.

"We are again carrying out free homecoming from Jakarta to a number of cities where the majority of travelers are headed. This is our commitment to provide services to the community and customers who are part of the ID FOOD ecosystem," he said after the release of the Fun Homecoming with BUMN 2024, in Jakarta, Friday, April 5.

According to Frans, this year ID FOOD provides around 300 free homecoming seats using bus transportation modes for Semarang, Solo, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya.

"Today we have released and dispatched around 300 travelers to 4 destination cities. This coincides with the release of the Fun Homecoming with SOEs in 2024 simultaneously at the Monas Cross by the Minister of SOEs," he said.

He said that all participants of the ID FOOD Free Homecoming were dispatched with 8 fleets of executive buses that had passed the KIR test and their feasibility was confirmed.

"This is to ensure safety, safety, and comfort during the trip, because it is the main thing," he said.

Frans said hundreds of homecoming participants together with ID FOOD who were dispatched were the result of the selection of participants through registration which had been open since a week before Ramadan.

"We take care and make sure the participants who are dispatched are really people who need it according to the direction of the Minister of SOEs. We also provide medicines to maintain the health of participants during the trip," he said.

Furthermore, Frans said, the implementation of this free homecoming has become a routine company program. Where its implementation from year to year continues to be improved both in terms of service and quantity of participants.

ID FOOD has been carrying out free homecoming since 2018 and until now it has become a routine program held every year. Free ID FOOD Homecoming Participants have also continued to increase in 3 years," he continued.

In the last 3 implementations of Free Homecoming ID FOOD participants continued to increase, this year ID FOOD dispatched 300 travelers, an increase of 20 percent from 2023, which dispatched 250 travelers. Meanwhile, in 2023 the number of travelers departing was 115 percent higher than in 2022, which dispatched 116 travelers. In total, since 2018 ID FOOD has dispatched more than 3,000 travelers.

Seperti pelaksanaan tahun sebelumnya, pada pelaksanaan mudik gratis tahun ini juga melibatkan Anak Perusahaan member of ID FOOD seperti, PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (PPI), PT Perikanan Indonesia, PT Berdikari, PT Sang Hyang Seri, PT Garam, dan PT Rajawali Nusindo.

"This is a form of our appreciation to the community by providing a sense of security and comfort when going home to their hometown ahead of Eid al-Fitr. In addition, the company's contribution is also a form of the company's success in the 2024 Eid Homecoming program," he said.

Meanwhile, Dedi (35), one of the participants in the Free Homecoming with ID FOOD, appreciated the re-implementation of this free homecoming program. He admitted that he was helped because he could return home with comfortable means of transportation without spending.

"I feel helped by the program because the costs previously used for travel costs can be stored for other needs while in my hometown. Hopefully this program can continue to run next year because the benefits will be very real," said the travelers to Semarang.
