JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) applies check of ticket suitability and identity of passengers traveling by Fast Train

General Manager of KCIC Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa explained that ticket checks were carried out to ensure the suitability of data between passengers and their tickets.

While at the station, continued Eva, officers will conduct a random inspection of the identity of the passenger before checking-in.

In addition, random checks will also be carried out by the conductor during the trip.

The things that will be checked are the suitability of the name and identity card number on the ticket and travel schedule such as date and departure time.

"This inspection was carried out as part of the crazysh fast train security protocol. In addition, this inspection was also carried out to ensure that the departing passengers were in accordance with existing travel manifest data," Eva said in an official statement received by VOI, Sunday, March 31.

Eva said, the suitability of passenger data is also related to travel insurance obtained by passengers.

In accordance with applicable regulations, every fast train passenger wins travel insurance as a form of guarantee for passengers.

"If the data is not appropriate, then the risk is that the passenger concerned is not covered by insurance," he explained.

During the socialization period, Eva continued, if there are passengers whose data is not appropriate, then the officer will provide education so that in the future they fill in the data accordingly.

However, after the socialization period, he continued, if passengers are still found that do not match their data, they will be given sanctions in accordance with applicable regulations.

Therefore, Eva appealed to the public, so that when placing tickets, the data entered is in accordance with the original identity document they have, namely an ID card or passport.

Make sure the data entered is appropriate before completing the ticket transaction.

"For the sake of smoothness and comfort of the service process, we hope that prospective passengers can pay attention to matters related to passenger data and travel schedules," he said.
