Earthquake 5.0 SR In Southwest Of Southeast Maluku, BMKG Has Not Reported Impact

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) stated that the earthquake rocked North Maluku with a magnitude of 5.0 on Friday, March 21 at dawn at around 02.57 WIB.

Based on information quoted by ANTARA, it was compiled from the BMKG website on Friday that the earthquake occurred in 149 kilometers southwest of Southeast Maluku, Maluku Province.

The earthquake was located at coordinates 6.67 South Latitude, 131.84 East Longitude with a depth of 135 kilometers.

"Earthquakes do not have the potential for a tsunami," said the word written on the BMKG official website.
