Pertamina Patra Niaga Ready To Distribute Subsidized Fuel Right On Target

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga expressed its readiness to distribute subsidized fuel oil (BBM) and LPG according to the quota set by the government so that it can be reached by underprivileged communities throughout Indonesia.

Pertamina Patra Niaga President Director Riva Siahaan in a statement in Jakarta, Friday, March 15, said the quota for fuel and LPG subsidies in 2024 for certain types of fuel oil (JBT) of 0.5 million kilo liters (kl), JBT for diesel oil 17.8 million kl, and LPG for 3 kg cylinders of 8.03 million metric tons is based on the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree Number 446.K/MG.05/DJM/2023.

"Pertamina is ready to carry out this government assignment, and through PT Pertamina Patra Niaga as Subholding Commercial & Trading, Pertamina will ensure that the distribution of subsidized energy in 2024 can reach underprivileged communities in all corners of the country at affordable prices," Riva said, quoted from Antara.

Riva conveyed that in ensuring that the distribution of energy subsidies, especially fuel and LPG, could be right on target, Pertamina Patra Niaga carried out several innovations, the main thing through the digitization program.

"The innovation has been running and we continue to evaluate the Proper Subsidy Program for JBT diesel and starting earlier this year the LPG Proper Subsidy is running 3 kg," explained Riva.

He said the JBT solar Proper Subsidy Program had been tested since 2022 and ran nationally in 514 districts and cities throughout Indonesia for the use of the QR Code in July 2023.

Throughout 2023, Riva continued, nearly 14 million Solar transaction clusters have been recorded digitally. A total of 92 percent is the distribution to vehicles and the remaining 8 percent is to fisheries businesses, agricultural businesses, MSMEs, and public services such as health facilities and BNPB.

He said that for LPG 3 kg, since January, the public has been required to show an ID card so that their NIK will be checked through the Pertamina Apps Merchant (MAP) in Pangkalan before being able to buy a subsidized LPG.

Then as many as 248 thousand bases in 411 districts and cities that have converted are now ready to serve subsidies right LPG 3 kg.

Since rolling on January 1, Riva continued, there have been 31 million NIKs that have made transactions with a total of more than 495 million 3Kg LPG cylinders. As many as 85 percent of these total transactions are recorded for household consumers, and the remaining 15 percent are MSMEs and target farmers and fishermen.

With the subsidies and quotas that have been set, through Pertamina Patra Niaga's Proper Subsidy, it is committed to providing data on distribution that is as transparent as possible, this is proof of the validity of our data and form of responsibility for the assignments given," Riva continued.

In addition to the Proper Subsidy, Riva said Pertamina Patra Niaga can currently access Pertamina Integrated Enterprise Data & Command Center (PIEDCC). Supported by digitization in Fuel and LPG Terminal as well as digitizing gas stations, Riva said that currently the distribution process to stock at gas stations and LPG bases can be monitored in real time.

"So in addition to ensuring data transparency, Pertamina Patra Niaga also continues to ensure the availability of products, including subsidized fuel and LPG, so that they are always available. This is our commitment to serve, provide, and meet energy needs in every community activity, including to remote areas," said Riva.
