KPUPR Targets Installation Of Garuda Barang Presidential Office At IKN Rampung End Of March 2024

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) targets the installation of Garuda bird blades at the Presidential Office in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) to be completed by the end of March 2024.

Once fully installed, the bar module will form the wings of the garuda bird and the facade of the Presidential Office building designed by artist Nyoman Nuarta.

The number of Garuda birdbar modules is 465 modules, with each module there are 10 Garuda blades. Thus, a total of 4,650 Garuda blades will be installed in the Presidential Office.

"Currently, 1,282 blades have been installed out of a total of 4,650. Overall, the progress of the construction of the Presidential Office building in IKN has reached 74 percent to date.
