After The 2024 General Election, Jokowi Ready To Groundbreaking 4 Bank Offices At IKN February 29

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is scheduled to inaugurate the groundbreaking or groundbreaking in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN). The plan is for the groundbreaking to be carried out on Thursday-Friday or February 29 to March 1, 2024.

Deputy for Funding and Investment of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) Agung Wicaksono said the groundbreaking was the first after holding the 2024 general election (election).

"This is the fifth groundbreaking and the first groundbreaking after the election in Indonesia and this shows a continuity of IKN," Agung said in a media briefing on the 5th Groundbreaking Preparation Update for the capital city of Nusantara online, Tuesday, February 27.

Agung said the fifth phase of the groundbreaking would be focused on banking services in the central government (KIPP) area.

A total of four (4) banks are scheduled to be involved in the fifth groundbreaking, namely PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk and PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Kalimantan Timur and North Kalimantan (Perseroda).

"This banking service center will begin with the signing of a cooperation agreement between OIKN and the Financial Services Authority (OJK). So, in IKN, it is marked that the construction of banking services will begin," he said.

Next, the construction of the Nusantara command center, Telkom Indonesia smart office, the Nusantara TVRI mini studio. Then, the construction of the BPJS Health service office also began.

Even so, Agung has not been able to reveal the value of investment in the projects that will be involved in the groundbreaking. He said the investment value would be conveyed during its implementation later.

"We will get it and it will be announced on the D-implementation day, the president will certainly convey it," he added.
