Interior And Furniture Of Minister's Houses In IKN Using Local Products

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) said that the interior and furniture of the landed house of minister in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) use domestic products.

"(Use products) locally. We are all really excited as much as possible if local products already exist, we use them. The furniture period must be from outside, already there (in the country)," said Head of the IKN Development Task Force (Kasatgas). Ministry of PUPR Danis H Sumadilaga in Jakarta, Monday, February 26.

Danis said the use of local products in landed houses of ministerial positions was implemented for floor tiles to lights.

"If I'm not mistaken, the lights are from the Boyolali area, Central Java," he said.

He added that local products will also be used for the interior and furniture of the state palace as well as the president's office at IKN.

On the same occasion, Danis reported that the progress of landed houses in ministerial positions had reached almost 80 percent.

The Ministry of PUPR has also completed the construction of two (2) units of landed houses for ministerial positions as an example house (mock up) at IKN.

"Yesterday we accelerated to provide an overview, of which two units of landed houses of ministerial positions have been completed," he said

The PUPR Ministry targets as many as 36 landed houses of ministerial positions to be completed in July 2024.

"Everything in July (2024) has been completed by 36 (rejected houses of ministerial positions)," he added.

As previously reported, the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas revealed that the scenario for the transfer of state civil servants (ASN) to the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) will be carried out in stages.

The transfer is carried out in accordance with institutional screening (filter) and the availability of housing.

"The scenario for moving ASN to IKN is carried out in stages in accordance with institutional screening and the availability of housing for ASN," Anas said in a written statement, quoted on Saturday, February 24.

Anas said this after a meeting with Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung at the Cabinet Secretariat Office, Jakarta, Friday, February 23.

As directed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), the strategy to move to IKN is emphasized not only physical transfers, but also changes to the paradigm of integrated governance nationally towards smart government.

In implementing smart government, which prioritizes the work system of flexibility, collaboration and agile in IKN through support for digitizing the government system.

"The initial target that can be achieved is the transfer of ASN to prepare for the ceremony to commemorate the 79th Indonesian Independence at IKN in August. Then, followed by the transfer period in November and December 2024," he said.
