New Year's Holidays After, 145,481 Vehicles Return To Jabotabek Via Trans Java Toll Road

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol noted that as many as 145,481 vehicles returned to Jakarta during the 2024 New Year holiday period, from December 31, 2023 to January 2, 2024.

"The total volume of vehicles returning to the Jakarta Region via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT) has increased by 54.69 percent compared to normal traffic of 94,047 vehicles," said VP Corporate Secretary and Legal Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Ria Marlinda Paalo in a written statement, quoted Thursday, January 4.

The volume of vehicles through GT Kalikangkung to Jakarta was recorded at 90,721 vehicles, an increase of 75.50 percent from normal traffic of 51,693 vehicles.

For vehicles heading to Semarang, 51,223 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 10.75 percent from normal traffic of 46,252 vehicles.

Then, Jasamarga Transjawa Tol recorded 106,091 vehicles returning to Jakarta via GT Banyumanik. This figure is up 74.44 percent from normal traffic as many as 60,817 vehicles.

"For vehicles heading to Solo, there were 80,946 vehicles recorded, an increase of 26.19 percent for normal traffic of 64,147 vehicles," he said.

Next, there were 45,385 vehicles leaving Bawen via GT Bawen.

That number increased 51.56 percent compared to normal traffic of 29,946 vehicles.

For vehicles heading to Bawen, 37,234 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 30.30 percent for normal traffic of 28,575 vehicles.

Then, as many as 34,243 vehicles have left Solo via GT Colomadu, an increase of 52.51 percent from normal traffic of 22,453 vehicles.

There were 25,614 vehicles heading to Solo, an increase of 35.24 percent for normal traffic as many as 18,939 vehicles.

Meanwhile, for the East Java region, Jasamarga Transjawa Tol noted that 59,966 vehicles had returned to Jakarta via the Warugunung GT.

That figure is up 17.28 percent against normal traffic of 51,130 vehicles.
