There Will Be 15 Groundbreaking Investors At IKN In January-February 2024

The Capital Archipelago Authority (OIKN) said that the laying of the first stone or groundbreaking for development at IKN will be carried out again from January to February 2024.

OIKN Deputy for Funding and Investment Agung Wicaksono said there were 15 private investors who would be involved in the groundbreaking.

"In 2024 we will also start with another groundbreaking between January and February, and there are already 15 investors who are in the preparation stage," Agung said in a virtual press conference, Friday, December 29.

Agung said that as many as 15 investors would actually conduct groundbreaking in December 2023. However, due to limited time, it will be pushed back to next year.

"This includes some of them planning to groundbreaking in December 2023, but with limited time they finally prepare for January to February 2024," he said.

The 15 investors include the Nusantara Consortium (Agung Sedayu, Adaro, Sinarmas, Astra, Intan Island, Mulia Group, Kawan Lama and Alfamart) for the construction of Botanical Garden, OJK Office Building, Deposit Insurance Office Building (LPS), BPJS Health Office Building, and PLN Office Building.

Then, there are Jambuluwuk Hotel, 5 Star Hotel & Convention Center, Indogrosir, Ciputra (green residence, hotel and golf course), Bank Mandiri, and Bank BCA.

Furthermore, there is the Arsari Foundation for launching Pulau Suaka Orang Utan, GGS Showroom Furniture, Sinar Primera for warehousing areas, and Grand Lucky.

"This will show that we are gaspol continuing. IKN gaspol continues in 2024 with investment groundbreaking and we are ready to work together or collaborate to create a green city, a smart city, and the start of the August 17 ceremony in 2024," he added.
