Bappenas: RPJMN 2025-2029 And RKP 2025 Enter 2 Main Substances

JAKARTA - The Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (PPN/Bappenas) reported the preparation of the 2025-2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) and the 2025 Government Work Plan (RKP) included two main substances.

"The first is how our RPJPN (National Long-Term Development Plan) 2025-2045, or Indonesia Gold 2045, can be achieved within the foundation of the first five years of development which is compiled in our document, RPJMN 2025-2029," said Deputy for Monitoring, Evaluation and Control of Development of the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas Erwin Dimas quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, December 28.

The second substance is the achievement of the President-elect's vision-mission and program in 2024 into the 2025-2029 RPJMN.

The adjustment will be made depending on when the President-elect is known whether there is only one round or two rounds.

"We have determined the RPJMN as a performance domain of all regions, all ministries, all of us in developing this country. So, in it we will also see various kinds of large projects, regional development directions, events to the provincial level will also be there, even assignments in each institutional government will be there. Funding also includes both government, non-government, and so on. So this is actually a complete package of development that we will compile in 2025-2029, "he said.

The preparation stage for the 2025-2029 RPJMN starts from a technocratic design, namely the screening of people's aspirations throughout June 2023-January 2024.

The second is the draft stage of the RPJMN 2025-2029 during March-December 2024 which will integrate with the vision, mission, and program of the elected president with sharpening. Then coordination with ministries/agencies, SOEs, and regions, as well as the RPJMN National Development Planning Deliberation (Musrenbangnas).

Finally, the stage of determining the 2025-2029 RPJMN through a Presidential Regulation (Perpres) in January 2025.

The stages of drafting the RKP 2025 start from the initial RKP plan by conducting FKP during November 2023-April 2024, then the draft stage of the RKP 2025 in April-May 2024 for RKP adjustments based on the indicative ceiling and Musrenbangnas.

Third, the RKP adjustment stage through the Presidential Decree based on the introductory discussion of the DPR and the Draft State Budget (RAPBN) during May-July 2024.

Finally, updating the RKP with the Presidential Regulation through RKP adjustments based on the State Budget Law in October-December 2024.

"So we hold an FKP event today, namely how to make all the votes, all opinions, all the criticisms that we have in us accommodate in this RPJMN draft. The result is a document that belongs to the nation, not to choose the state apparatus, but the documents that choose this nation. That is actually the core of the planning document that we will compile in the future," said Erwin.

He emphasized that all indicators contained in the 2025-2029 RPJMN and 2025 RKP will be part of the strategic plan (rentra) and targets that must be achieved in each province by not eliminating regional autonomy.

"This is something that we will strengthen in us to implement the planning documents that we have compiled in the future," he concluded.
