Free Ricecooker Shares Completed January 2024

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) targets the distribution of free rice cooker electrical cooking utensils (AML) to be completed in early 2024.

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif said that if the government targets to distribute as many as 500,000 units of electric rice breeding this year, his party is still verifying the administration of recipient data so that the distribution process will be completed in January next year.

"Yesterday we pushed 500 thousand in January at least delivery. So January (rampung)," Arifin told the media quoted on Saturday, December 9.

Head of the Communication, Public Information Service, and Cooperation Bureau of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Agus Cahyono Adi explained that data on ricecooker recipients had been completed and procurements had also been prepared so that starting December 2023 it would begin to be distributed to recipients.

"December has begun to be distributed, but I don't know how much has been distributed. So some have been sent in December and all the completions are in January. The procurement is ready, it's just a distribution process," said Agus.

He also ensured that the recipients of the assistance would remain at 500,000 and that there would be no change in the number of recipients.

Meanwhile, regarding the sustainability of AML's distribution program in 2024, Agus said that his party still had to look at the budget ceiling to be set for 2024.

Just so you know, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has issued Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation Number 11 of 2023 concerning the Provision of Electricity-Based Cooking Equipment for Households. As a derivative, Technical Guidelines for the Provision of Electricity-Based Cooking Equipment (AML) have also been also been issued through the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 548.K/TL.04/DJL.3/2023.
