Holds EGMS, Shareholders Lift Vincent Saputra As President Director Of RMK Energy

JAKARTA - PT RMK Energy Tbk (RMKE) held an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS).

One of the agendas of the EGMS is the change in the composition of the members of the board of commissioners and directors of the Company.

Dalam agenda pertama yaitu perubahan dan pengangkatan Direksi Perseroan, rapat telah menyetujui pengangkatan dua Direksi Perseroan, yaitu Vincent Saputra sebagai Direktur Utama dan Sugiyanto Tjoa sebagai Direksi.

Vincent Saputra was previously the Finance Director of RMKE and Sugiyanto Tjoa was previously the Director of PT Royaltama Mulia Kencana.

In addition to appointing the board of directors, the EGMS also appointed Tony Saputra as the Company's President Commissioner.

Vincent and Sugiyanto Tjoa, both of them are two very capable talents in their field, through their experience, the Company is confident that both of them will be able to make a very good contribution to RMKE in the future," said Corporate Secretary, Muhtar in a written statement to the media, Tuesday, November 5.

On the same occasion, the President Director of the Company, Vincent Saputra, also expressed his appreciation for the shareholder's trust in the mandate given to him as President Director of the Company.

"We are committed to maintaining the sustainability of RMKE's business by maintaining good performance growth and continuing to strive to optimize the implementation of good GCG," said Vincent.

To support operational activities, he said, the Company is currently completing a private hauling road which is targeted to operate in 2024 so that it can increase the volume of coal transportation from third party mines.

"With the completion of this hauling road project, the Company can synergize with its affiliated company RMKO, which has just been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, so that it can provide coal logistics services that are integrated from upstream to downstream. The company will also optimize coal production from in-house mines to increase coal sales volume," concluded Vincent.
