15 Jabodebek LRT Series Undergoes Treatment, Train Arrival Distance Becomes Longer

JAKARTA - The Jabodebek LRT is currently undergoing treatment for 15 series of trains or trainsets. As a result, 28 trips were canceled and made the headway or train arrival distance longer.

The Manager of Public Relations of the Jabodebek LRT, Kuswardoyo, said that his party was forced to stop the operation of a number of trainsets for treatment according to the existing treatment schedule.

Some of the treatments carried out include, continued Kuswardoyo, 13 trainsets had to make wheels to ensure that the condition of the wheels was in accordance with what was a condition for the Jabodebek LRT journey, while the remaining 2 trainsets experienced disruption to the integration of the signal system.

"Security is a priority for Jabodebek LRT operations," he said in Jakarta, Thursday, October 19.

Because 15 series of undergoing treatment, continued Kuswardoyo, 28 Jabodebek LRT trips were canceled. The cancellation of this trip will take effect in the next few days.

"The cancellation of a number of Jabodebek LRT trips also results in a headway or longer arrival distance between trains," he said.

Kuswardoyo emphasized that his party together with all stakeholders are trying their best so that the treatment process can be completed immediately, so that the operation of the Jabodebek LRT trip returns to normal.

"LRT Jabodebek apologizes for any travel disturbances and train services that occurred," he said.
