The Ministry Of SOEs Will Inject Funds For Waskita Karya Through Hutama Karya Worth IDR 12.5 Trillion

JAKARTA - The Ministry of SOEs proposes the provision of state capital participation (PMN) of IDR 18.6 trillion in 2024. However, this injection of funds was not directly given to Waskita but through PT Hutama Karya.

Deputy Minister of SOEs Kartika Wirjoatmodjo said PMN to Hutama Karya was divided into two, namely helping PT Waskita Karya (Persero) solve its financial problems and the construction of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road.

"This is a portion that will later be used to help the toll road which was completed by Waskita for IDR 12.5 trillion, later we will also use the resolution of the problems in Waskita," he said at the House of Representatives Commission VI meeting, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, September 14.

Meanwhile, Kartika continued, the pure state capital injection for Hutama Karya was IDR 6.1 trillion.

"That is for the completion of several sections on the Trans Sumatra Toll Road which we hope will be completed in 2024," he said.

Meanwhile, PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk is proposed to receive PMN of IDR 6 trillion next year. This PMN is smaller than the original proposal of IDR 10 trillion.

"WIKA has a reduction from the initial proposal of IDR 10 trillion, but in our opinion IDR 6 trillion is quite adequate. Later in 2025 we will add another IDR 4 trillion," he said.
