Ada Kereta Cepat Jakarta Bandung, Erick Pede Tegalluar Bakal Jadi Pertumbuhan Kota Baru Di Jabar

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir said the Tegalluar area, Bandung Regency, would become a center for the growth of a new city in West Java (West Java).

This is in line with the presence of the Jakarta Bandung High Speed Train Station in Tegalluar.

"The expansion is also the growth of a new city in West Java for the Bandung draw," said Erick when met at the Mulia Hotel, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, September 5.

Erick said that the birth of the Jakarta Bandung High Speed Train (Jakarta Jakarta Bandung Fast Train) was also a solution to reduce congestion in the city of Bandung.

"Because if we look at the condition of Bandung, which is now 40 percent jammed in the future, what does it mean? How to reduce congestion in Bandung, Jakarta, one of which is by fast train," he explained.

For your information, the plan is for the first mass transportation mode in Indonesia to be inaugurated by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on October 1, 2023.

Before Jokowi inaugurated the Jakarta Bandung High Speed Train, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan would try out the mode of transportation together with Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang.

This was revealed by the President Director of PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi, when met at the DPR Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, September 4.

Regarding the inauguration of the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train, Dwiyana admitted that until now he is still waiting for the exact date from the government.

"We are still waiting for confirmation from the government," he said.
