President Director of PT Perikanan Indonesia Sigit Muhartono said that the World Seafood Shanghai event was a meeting place between companies and professional fisheries business people on the international stage.

The signing of the memorandum of understanding at the WSS 2023 event was carried out by the Operational Director of PT Perikanan Indonesia Fajar Widisasono as a company representative with representatives of each Chinese company. The result of the agreement with Lygend Resources & Technology Co,. stated that they would put together a consortium of fishing boat owners in Shipu Town with a size of 100-300 GT to operate in Indonesia in cooperation with PT Perikanan Indonesia.
Lygend Resources will also put together a consortium of 67 fish processing factories in Shipu Town. These factories have a raw material requirement of 700,000 tons per year.
