Deputy Regent Danang Maharsa: Telkom Helps Development Many In Sleman, Especially In Expansion Of WiFi Networks

JAKARTA - Deputy Regent of Sleman, Special Region of Yogyakarta, Danang Maharsa said that PT Telkom Indonesia has played a lot of roles in development, especially in the installation of free WIFI in the hamlets in the area.

"Telkom has played a lot of roles in development in Sleman, especially in expanding the free WIFI network in each padukuhan," said Danang Maharsa while attending the Telkom Employee Union National Working Meeting (Rakernas) in Sleman, quoted from Antara, Wednesday 26 July.

The National Working Meeting was attended by Sekar Telkom administrators from various regions in Indonesia and was held for three days.

On that occasion, Danang also expressed his gratitude for choosing Sleman as the venue for the Telkom Sekar National Working Meeting.

"Thank you for choosing Sleman as the place where the National Working Meeting is held, of course this will have an impact on Sleman for staying in Sleman, and later at the end of the event he will also visit tourism on the slopes of Mount Merapi. Happy implementing the National Working Meeting and of course enjoy the tour in Sleman Regency," he said.

Chairman of the National Working Meeting Committee Sekar Telkom Tri Pujianto said that the activity was attended by officers from the DPP, DPW and DPD Sekar Telkom throughout Indonesia.

Followed by nine regional representatives, 69 regional representatives, and officially 115 participants and 78 observers accompanied by 46 committees.

"There are three stages of this National Working Meeting activity, first sharing from external will be included in our discussion, then the core event of work meetings, and tourism activities on the slopes of Mount Merapi," he said.

Chairman of Sekar Telkom Iwan Agus Sugiarto in his speech emphasized the importance of transformation in Telkom, aiming to maintain existence as a digital company in Indonesia.

"In accordance with the Javanese philosophy 'hameyu hayuning bauna', which is to beautify the beauty of this world and preserve what we preserve, as well as our company, which is currently the largest digital communication company in Indonesia, and we must preserve this existence to get better," he said.
