PT Angkasa Pura I stated that it is ready to implement the National Logistics Ecosystem Arrangement program or the National Logistics Ecosystem (NLE) agreed in the Leaders of the NLE Implementation Forum.

In the forum, it is planned that there will be six airports in Indonesia that will start implementing the NLE Program, 4 of which are Angkasa Pura I airports, namely Bali I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Juanda Airport Surabaya, SAMS Sepinggan Airport Balikpapan, and Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar.

"Of course, we really support the implementation of this program with the aim of increasing efficiency in national cargo distribution and logistics, as well as optimizing businesses which will ultimately be directly proportional to the effectiveness of cargo services nationally, increasing cargo throughput, and company revenues," said Director of Commercial and Angkasa Pura Service I Dendi T. Danianto in a written statement, Friday, May 26.

Dendi said the airport played a fairly crucial role in the cargo and logistics distribution ecosystem through air transportation.

"Through the implementation of the four pillars of the NLE Program, Angkasa Pura I believes that the distribution system of cargo and logistics through air transportation will be more optimal and efficient," he said.

The four pillars of the NLE Program, namely the simplification of government service business processes in the logistics sector, collaboration of international and domestic logistics service systems, ease of payment transactions for state revenues and facilitation of payments between logistics business actors, as well as arrangement of port space and distribution channels for goods.

In supporting the implementation of the NLE Program, Angkasa Pura I has implemented a number of strategic steps, including the implementation of Cargo Integrated System 2.0 which supports business digitization in cargo terminals.

"The implementation of Cargo Integrated System 2.0 will facilitate transactions and data exchange between stakeholders who are members of the cargo and logistics ecosystem, which will ultimately support the acceleration of the implementation of the NLE Program at Angkasa Pura I airports," Dendi concluded.

For your information, the National Logistics Ecosystem Arrangement Program (NLE) is a derivative program of the Presidential Instruction of the Republic of Indonesia (Inpres) Number 5 of 2020 concerning the Arrangement of the National Logistics Ecosystem.

This program aims to improve national logistics performance, improve the investment climate, and increase the competitiveness of the national economy.
