JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) has submitted five 2023 work plans to the DPR to support the main tasks and functions in managing state finances.

The composition of the framework was conveyed by the Deputy Minister of Finance (Wamenkeu) Suahasil Nazara in a working meeting with Commission XI at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta.

According to Suahasil, the Ministry of Finance's vision is to become the manager of state finances to create a productive, competitive, inclusive and equitable Indonesian economy.

"There are five programs in the 2023 work plan, namely fiscal policy, state revenue policy, state expenditure, management of the state's treasury of wealth and risk, as well as management support," he said in an official statement quoted Thursday, June 9.

He detailed that the five programs include the first, namely the fiscal policy program in 2023 to support Indonesia's economic transformation through responsive and anticipatory fiscal consolidation.

The second is the state revenue management program in 2023, which includes strengthening the administrative system, expanding the state revenue base, better monitoring compliance, and improving service quality.

"The third program is the state expenditure management program whose strategic issue is spending better to improve the quality of state spending, the effectiveness of social assistance, subsidy reform, as well as improving local taxing power," he said.

Then the four treasury management programs, state assets, and risks.

He said, this program seeks to realize effective, efficient, and accountable cash management and government budget accountability.

"And the last one is a management support program. This program includes organizational structuring design, improving the quality of HR management, encouraging new work styles, collaborative work culture, shared services, optimizing fund management, various monitoring activities and strengthening integrity, as well as service improvement. digitalization," concluded the Deputy Minister of Finance, Suahasil Nazara.
