Supporting National Exports, Bank Mandiri Establishes Transaction Banking Cooperation With LPEI

JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri Tbk is said to have established cooperation with the Indonesian Export Financing Agency (LPEI) regarding transaction banking services to support national export transaction activities.

Bank Mandiri Director of Institutional Relations, Rohan Hafas, said his party was committed to supporting the increase in national exports through synergies in banking services to LPEI.

"LPEI, as the Special Mission Vehicle (SMV) of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, has made a real contribution in encouraging national exports that are highly competitive at the global level", he said in an official statement, Thursday, December 30.

According to Rohan, Bank Mandiri will provide services that include Mandiri Cash Management, Mandiri Virtual Accounts, and the cooperation of Bank Mandiri's equivalent branch network.

"It is clear here that we support LPEI in carrying out its mandate, especially increasing national exports", he said.

On the same occasion, LPEI Managing Director I, Dikdik Yustandi, welcomed the cooperation in transaction banking services for account management and LPEI customer payments.

"Digitalization is one of the keys to accelerating processes and modernizing business in this era to support LPEI business processes and transactions", he said.

Dikdik added that LPEI is currently focusing on carrying out its mandate in encouraging national export performance through financing, guarantee, and insurance activities so that the use of banking services is very necessary.

“This collaboration is not the first time for Bank Mandiri and LPEI. We all hope to continue to strengthen cooperation in banking services, to encourage national export performance by providing banking service solutions for export businesses", concluded Dikdik.
