Anker Beer Producer Owned By DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Raises Sales Of IDR 482.85 Billion And Profit Of IDR 141.57 Billion In The Third Quarter Of 2021

JAKARTA - The beer company whose shares are also owned by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) PT Delta Djakarta Tbk (DLTA) posted a net profit of IDR 141.57 billion in the third quarter of 2021. Anker Beer's producer's earnings doubled or 100.29 percent. compared to the same period the previous year which was IDR 70.68 billion.

In Delta Djakarta's financial report published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website, quoted on Thursday, November 4, the increase in net profit was driven by an increase in company sales to IDR 482.85 billion. This sales achievement grew 38.32 percent on an annual basis (year on year / yoy) from revenue at the end of September 2021 which amounted to IDR 349.07 billion.

The company's cost of goods sold also increased to IDR 144.52 billion in the third quarter of 2021 from IDR 113.36 billion previously. However, selling expenses decreased to IDR 109.48 billion from IDR 111.95 billion, general administrative expenses rose to IDR 61.89 billion from IDR 55.41 billion.

Interest income decreased to IDR 16.38 billion from IDR 29.54 billion. Other losses recorded a decrease to IDR 1.91 billion from IDR 7.43 billion.

In the third quarter of 2021, the value of DLTA's assets was recorded at IDR 1.27 trillion, a slight increase from the position at the end of December 2020 which was valued at IDR 1.23 trillion. Current assets reached IDR 1.14 trillion and non-current assets amounted to IDR 129.44 billion.

In the liability account, there was an increase until the third quarter of 2021 to IDR 312.79 billion from the previous IDR 205.68 billion. Short-term liabilities were recorded at IDR 253.69 billion and long-term liabilities were closed at IDR 59.10 billion.

The company's equity at the end of September 2021 reached IDR 961.22 billion, down from the position at the end of December 2020 which was IDR 1.02 trillion.

For information, as of September 2021, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government led by Anies Baswedan still holds 26.25 percent of the shares or 210.200.700 shares of Delta Djakarta. Meanwhile, San Miguel Malaysia owns 58.33 percent or 467.07 million shares.
