995 Weapons Found at Private School, Foundation Denies Eskul Shooting

JAKARTA - The manager of a private school foundation in the Pondok Pinang area, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, confirmed that there was no extracurricular (extracurricular) shooting activity, related to the discovery of 995 guns at the school.

"We inform you, based on information from teachers who have been here for a long time, there has never been a shooting extracurricular activity at this school," said the foundation's lawyer Hermawanto as reported by ANTARA, Friday, August 7.

He said the information received by the new management from the teachers said the school never had a shooting extracurricular.

The police received a report from the community regarding the findings on July 15, 2026. Investigators had previously made a Model A Police Report as the basis for initial handling after learning of the findings.
