Puslabfor Polri And Inafis Will Process TKP In The Aftermath Of The Cipinang Penitentiary Fire

The National Police Headquarters Laboratory and the East Jakarta Police Inafis Team will conduct a crime scene (TKP) after the fire of the Cipinang Penitentiary in Jatinegara, East Jakarta on Monday, December 1, 2025.

The crime scene was carried out after the flames were successfully extinguished by firefighters from the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. The location of the crime scene was carried out on the second floor of the hospital.

Meanwhile, from the results of a thorough review by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, the Secretary of the Directorate General of Pemasyaratan, the Director of IT and Cooperation and Karo Hukerma and the Head of the Office of Wilauah of the Directorate General of Social Affairs Jakarta, the flames burned 1 administrative room and a storage warehouse for cleaning equipment.

"The object caught fire in a warehouse that stored cleaning equipment and an administrative room on the 2nd floor of the Cipinang Penitentiary," he said.

Rika said that 28 patients at the Cipinang Penitentiary who were evacuated were safe and conducive.

"There are 28 patients in safe and conducive conditions," he said.
