Tiri Alvaro's Father Committed Suicide In The South Jakarta Metro Police Concelling Room

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Budi Hermanto Polda revealed that the cause of the death of Alvaro Kiano Nugroho (6)'s stepfather, Alex Iskandar, was suspected of committing suicide in the counseling room of the South Jakarta Police (Jaksel).

Budi said the suspect ended his life on Sunday, November 23, 2025, in the early hours of the morning.

"The person concerned is suspected of committing suicide in the counseling room. Not in the detention cell," he said at Polda Metro, Monday, November 24, 2025.

Previously, the South Jakarta Metro Police named Alex Iskandar as a suspect in Alvaro's death.

The determination of the suspect was carried out after the police found the human skeleton suspected of being Alvaro's body. Currently the police will conduct a DNA test on the skeleton.

"Just found the human skeleton which is suspected to be Alvaro. But we need certainty first through DNA checks and Labfor examinations," South Jakarta Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when contacted.

However, Nicolas has not explained further regarding the findings of Alvaro's alleged skeleton. According to him, the police are still investigating this case.

"Wait for investigators and investigators to work first to confirm it," he said.
