Russian Troops Join Sentit With Ukraine In Kupyansk

JAKARTA - Deputy chief of military administration-Kharkov's constituency for defense and security, Yevgeny Lisnyak, said Russian troops were involved in street battles in the western part of Kupyansk.

"Kupyansk remains the center of the fiercest fighting. Ukraine's military situation there is considered critical. The western part of the city, the right side of the Oskol River, is also the location of street battles. There are reports of possession of several roads in the southern and western parts of the city," Lisnyak said as quoted by TASS, Thursday, November 13.

He explained that the eastern part of Kupyansk, on the left side of the Oskol River, had almost completely been vacated from Ukrainian units.

Russian soldiers are also claimed to have taken control of the Olivino and Park Vostochnogo Pribytia train stations. Currently, the troops are cleaning up the Kupyansk-Sortivochny station.
