BNN Calls Methamphetamine Factory In Cisauk Apartments Shopping For Materials And Equipment Online

JAKARTA - The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) said the methamphetamine factory in one of the apartments in the Cisauk area, Tangerang was shopping for materials and tools online or online.

This was revealed after BNN together with the Directorate General of Customs and Excise conducted operations since Friday, October 17 yesterday. Two people have been named as suspects, namely IM as the chef or designer and DF as marketing or those who market production results.

"All chemicals and laboratory equipment are known to be purchased online," said Head of BNN Komjen Suyudi Ario Seto, quoted from a written statement, Saturday, October 18.

Suyudi explained that the methamphetamine factory operates by extracting 15,000 pills of asthma into 1 kilogram of pure Ephedrine.

"The two perpetrators claimed to have made a profit of around Rp. 1 billion over the past six months," he said.

Meanwhile, during the operation, evidence was found of methamphetamine-type narcotics in liquid and solid form, various chemicals used in the process of making methamphetamine to laboratory equipment used to produce narcotics.

As a result of their actions, the suspects were charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) jo. Article 132 paragraph (1) subsidiary Article 113 paragraph (2) jo. Article 132 paragraph (1) is more subsidiary to Article 112 paragraph (2) jo. Article 132 paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, with a minimum imprisonment of 5 years and a maximum death penalty.
