Polda Metro Jaya is still investigating a number of evidences confiscated from nine suspects in the case of confinement and mistreatment of four people in South Tangerang (Tangsel).
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Brigadier General Ade Ary Syam Indradi said that one of the evidences that were secured was the official vehicle number plate and police uniform.
"Based on information from investigators, the number plates found were fake. Meanwhile, whose police uniforms were confiscated are still being investigated," said Ade Ary in Jakarta, Friday, October 17.
In addition, investigators also found objects that resemble firearms at the scene. The object turned out to be an airsoft gun. This is also still being investigated," he said.
However, from the results of the interim examination, the police have not found the fact that there are suspects who are really members of the police, even though there was such a confession at the time of the incident.
"There is no such fact found. Everything is still being investigated, including the reason the items were brought along with the relationship between the suspects," he explained.
Ade Ary emphasized that investigators are committed to solving the case professionally and proportionally according to standard operating procedures (SOP).
"Please time, the team is still working on deepening it," he said.
Previously, Polda Metro Jaya arrested nine suspects in the case of confinement and mistreatment of four people in the Tangsel area, Banten. The suspects consisted of eight men, respectively MAM (41), VS (33), HJE (25), S (35), APN (25), Z (34), I, and MA (39), as well as one woman with the initials NN (52).
