President Praises KSAD Maruli and National Police Chief Listyo Sigit, Says Pantas Should Fill Top Position

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto praised the Chief of Staff of the Army General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak and the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. Both are considered worthy of occupying the highest positions in their respective institutions due to their achievements and dedication.

Prabowo made the statement when he inaugurated 3,395 TNI-Polri bridges and 3,000 TNI AD clean water sources hybridly from Istana Merdeka, Jakarta, Thursday, August 13.

Prabowo said he had been monitoring various TNI and Polri initiatives since he was still serving as Minister of Defense.

Specifically, Maruli, Prabowo said he had noticed various initiatives taken long before the general became KSAD.

"General Maruli, before becoming KSAD, before holding the highest position in the Army, I have monitored you taking good initiatives," said Prabowo.

He reminded that every service of officials and leaders will eventually be judged by the public.

"All good deeds, all good service, by individuals, by officials, by leaders, are actually monitored, monitored, recorded, remembered by the people," he said.

Prabowo then referred to Maruli's position as the highest commander of the Army in line with his record of service.

"A soldier like Maruli Simanjuntak becomes an officer, the highest official in the Army, it is deserved for his work and dedication," he said.

A similar assessment was given to Listyo Sigit.

"I also believe that General Police Listyo has reached the highest peak in the police, it is deserved because of his achievements, dedication, and ability," said Prabowo.

During the event, Prabowo also appreciated the TNI and Polri who had built thousands of bridges and clean water sources for the community.
