Due To Debt, Elderly In Kebon Jeruk Stabbed By His Friend To Death

JAKARTA - A 3-kilogram LPG agent with the initials SB (65) was stabbed by a man with the initials EH (50) on Jalan Patra Raya, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, Tuesday, September 30. After being taken to the hospital, the victim was reported dead.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kebon Jeruk Police, AKP Double, said the perpetrators and victims knew each other.

"Yes, the perpetrator and the victim know each other. So, there is indeed a problem. Some of the perpetrator's belongings were sold (by the victim) without the knowledge of the perpetrator. This perpetrator became annoyed," said AKP Ganda.

The stabbing left the victim seriously injured in the back so he had to be rushed to the hospital. But unfortunately, the victim could not be saved because the wound was too severe.

"The victim, after being stabbed (at 11.00 WIB), was rushed to the hospital. Then under treatment, after a few hours later, 3 hours or 4 hours later it was declared that the victim died in handling," said Kebon Jeruk Police Chief Kompol Nur Aqsha Ferdianto to reporters, Wednesday, October 1.

Furthermore, he said, after being declared dead on Tuesday, September 30, afternoon, the victim was taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for an autopsy.

After further investigation, the perpetrator has a debt to the victim. The victim then took the initiative to sell the perpetrator's belongings without his knowledge.

"The victim gave the perpetrator a debt. Well, there was this item, like a tank like that (owned by the perpetrator), allegedly sold it to the victim, so the perpetrator was upset. So, we are still investigating it again," he said.
