KPK Reveals Reasons For Not Detaining Rudy Tanoe Despite Winning Pretrial Lawsuit

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said investigators were still focused on collecting and completing evidence related to allegations of corruption in the distribution of rice social assistance involving the Ministry of Social Affairs and PT Dosni Roha Logistics.

This was conveyed by KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo when asked about the reason why Bambang Rudijanto Tanoesoedibjo or Rudy Tanoe as President Commissioner of PT Dosni Roha Logistik had not been arrested. The anti-corruption commission has won the pretrial lawsuit filed by the media businessman, Hary Tanoesoedibjo, at the South Jakarta District Court (PN).

"Currently (investigators, ed) are still focused on the investigation process," Budi told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, September 24.

Budi said that currently there are three people and two corporations who are suspects in this case. "This is the seriousness of the KPK to process and really trace the parties responsible in this case," he said.

South Jakarta District Court Single Judge Saut Erwin Hartono Munthe rejected the pretrial lawsuit filed by Rudi Tanoe. The pretrial lawsuit is registered at the South Jakarta District Court with case number: 102/Pid.Pra/2025/PN JKT.SE and was knocked on Tuesday, September 23.

"Trial. In the exception: reject the applicant's exception in its entirety. In the main case: reject the applicant's application in its entirety," said the judge when reading the verdict.

According to the judge, the law enforcement process carried out by the KPK was in accordance with applicable procedures and mechanisms. Rudy has been questioned in the process before the determination of the suspect was pinned by the KPK.

As previously reported, the KPK has named three people and two companies suspected of corruption in the transportation of social assistance (bansos) at the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos). The investigation warrant (sprindik) was issued last August.

One of the suspects is B. Rudijanto Tanoesoedibjo as President Commissioner of PT Dosni Roha Logistik who is also the brother of a media entrepreneur, Harry Tanoesoedibjo.

Sumber VOI menyebut Rudijanto jadi tersangka bersama Edy Suharto selaku eks Dirjen Pemberdayaan Sosial Kementerian Sosial dan sekarang menjabat sebagai staf ahli Menteri Sosial bidang Perubahan dan Dinasika Sosial dan Kanisius Jerry Tengker yang merupakan Direktur Utama PT Dosni Roha Logistik tahun 2020-2022.

Meanwhile, the two corporate suspects are PT Dosni Roha Indonesia and PT Dosni Roha Logistik. Both are companies engaged in distribution.

The three suspects have been prevented from leaving the country for six months. Then, one name was also prevented, namely Herry Tho, who is the Operational Director of PT Dosni Roha Logistics for 2021-2024.
