Bali Police Find 4 Bodies Of Women Victims Of Floods In The Land Of Kilap

JAKARTA - The National Police found the bodies of four flood victims who had previously been declared missing. All of them were found in Tanah Kilap, Mangrove, South Denpasar.

Ditpolairud Polda Bali Kombes Nurodin said the four were found on Thursday, September 11, at around 09.00 WITA. From the results of the temporary identification, all of them are women.

"Yes, that's right, the search by the joint SAR team intensively managed to find four flood victims this morning," said Nurodin, quoted on Friday, September 12.

Currently, the four victims have been taken to Prof. Ngurah Hospital, Sanglah for the identification process.

"The search for several victims that have not been found is still being carried out involving a joint team," he explained.

With the discovery of four flood victims by the joint SAR team, a total of 9 flood victims were found dead. Meanwhile, 4 more victims are still being searched.

For information, the number of flood victims in Bali reached 14 people. Of these, 5 people have been found dead and 8 people have been declared missing.

BPBD Bali also reported 120 flood points hit seven regencies/cities in Bali. The details, Denpasar as many as 81 flood points, Gianyar 14 points, Badung 12 points, Tabanan eight points. Then, Karangasem and Jembrana each have four points and Klungkung one point.

BPBD Bali also informed that 562 residents were displaced, consisting of 327 residents in Jembrana Regency and 235 residents in Denpasar City.
