BMKG: Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Bekasi Bright, Beware Of Thunderstorms In Tangerang

JAKARTA The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in the Jabodetabek area on Sunday, August 24 will be dominated by sunny conditions from morning to noon, although there is the potential for rain accompanied by lightning at several points.

In Bogor, the air temperature in the morning ranges from 23 degrees Celsius and will increase to 31 degrees Celsius during the day. The weather in this rainy city is relatively sunny from morning to noon.

Jakarta is expected to be sunny with a morning temperature of about 26 degrees Celsius and reach 32 degrees Celsius during the day. Warm and dry weather is predicted to dominate throughout the day.

Tangerang is forecasted to be sunny since morning with a temperature of 26 degrees Celsius. However, during the day it has the potential to rain accompanied by lightning with an air temperature of about 32 degrees Celsius.

Bekasi in the morning is in the temperature range of 26 degrees Celsius and will peak at 33 degrees Celsius during the day. Sunny weather conditions with a little fog are expected to occur in this area.

Meanwhile, Depok is predicted to be sunny with a temperature of about 26 degrees Celsius in the morning and an increase of up to 33 degrees Celsius in the afternoon.

The BMKG appealed to the public to remain aware of the potential for weather changes, especially in the Tangerang area which has the potential for thunderstorms during the day.

Residents are also advised to maintain their body condition by consuming enough fluids and using personal protection when doing activities outdoors because the air temperature is relatively high in most Jabodetabek areas.
