KPK Is Looking For Other Affiliational Companies Suspected Of Bribery For Road Projects In North Sumatra

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that the suspect in the road project bribery case in North Sumatra (North Sumatra) used the flag of another company to win another project.

Eight witnesses were examined to investigate the allegation on Thursday, July 17.

As for this case, two private parties have been named as suspects after the arrest operation (OTT) at the end of last June. They are M. Endun Efendi Siregar as President Director of PT DNG; and M. Rayhan Dulasmi Pilang as Director of PT RN.

"Investigators are investigating the projects obtained by the suspect in Madina Regency and the Provincial PUPR Office, either using his own company or using other flags," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Friday, July 18.

The witnesses summoned were Mulyono as the former Head of PUPR Office of North Sumatra Province; Winda as staff of the PUPR Office of Mandailing Natal Regency; Ryan Lubis as Head of UPT Gunung Tua, North Padang Lawas Regency; and Suryadi Gozali who is the owner of the Daihatsu Motor sparepart in Padangsidimpuan City.

Then Andi Junaedi as UPTD Paluta/Gunung Tua was also investigated; Addi Mawardi Harahap as Head of Binamarga Padangsidimpuan; Abdul Azis who is a staff of the Padangsidimpuan Public Works Service; and Mardiah as an honorary staff of the Mandailing Natal Regency PUPR Service.

"The examination was carried out at the Medan Representative BPKP office," he said.

As previously reported, the KPK held a hand arrest operation (OTT) in the North Sumatra region on Thursday, June 26. It is suspected that money was given in the road construction project in the province.

From this forced effort, the KPKf then named Typhoon Obaja Putra Ginting or Typhoon Ginting as the Head of PUPR Office of North Sumatra Province as a suspect along with four other people. They are Effendi Siregar's Rasul as the Head of the Old Mountain UPTD of the North Sumatra Province PUPR Service concurrently the Commitment Making Officer (PPK); Heiyanto as PPK PJN Satker Region I North Sumatra Province; M. Akhirun Efendi Siregar as the President Director of PT DNG; and M. Rayhan Dulasmi Pilang as Director of PT RN.

The Typhoon was in the spotlight because it was inaugurated as the Head of PUPR on February 24 by the Governor of North Sumatra Bobby Nasution. He previously served as Head of the Public Works Service or the Department of Water Resources, Highways and Construction Development of Medan City and had served as Acting (Plt) of the Medan City Secretary when the son-in-law of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia sat as Mayor of Medan.

The KPK revealed that there were six road construction projects with a budget of IDR 231.8 billion that were suspected of bribery. The details are as follows:
