Police Investigate Finding Headless Body At Tanggamus Beach

LAMPUNG - The Limau Sector Police (Polsek) investigated the case of the discovery of the body of a headless man on the coast of Cukuh Pandan, Pekon (Village) Padang Ratu, Limau District, Tanggamus Regency, Lampung.

Limau Police Chief, Iptu Dedi Yanto said the discovery of the body occurred on Tuesday (15/7), at 15.10 WIB. Currently the team is still conducting an investigation to reveal the cause of death of the victim.

"We are still conducting an investigation and waiting for the results of further investigation to determine the cause of death of the victim and reveal his identity," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 16.

To reveal the cause of death of the victim, his party has taken the body to the Bhayangkara Police Hospital in Lampung for an autopsy.

The anonymous body has been evacuated to Batin Mangunang Hospital, Kota Agung for initial examination. They were then taken to Bhayangkara Hospital, Lampung Police for autopsy purposes," he said.

Meanwhile, according to the testimony of witnesses, the corpse was initially found by residents on the beach of Cukuh Pandan, Pekon Padang Ratu, Limau District,

"Yesterday at around 15.10 WIB we received a report of the discovery of the body of an unidentified man at Cukuh Pandan Beach. When it was found that the victim's condition had been damaged, without a head, right wrist and right foot sole were also missing," he said.

From the results of the initial examination at the location, it was found that the victim was wearing an orange long-sleeved shirt, plain red jacket, and red plaid shorts, but the identity of the victim was unknown.

"We immediately went to the location, conducted a crime scene investigation, asked for witness statements, put up a police line and evacuated the bodies," he said.
