Malang City Police conducted an examination of six demonstrators who had held demonstrations related to the ratification of the TNI Law in the Tugu Square area, Sunday, March 23.
Head of the Malang City Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Kompol M Sholeh, said the examination process had so far been running smoothly, because the demonstrators showed a cooperative attitude to the officers.

"We have no reason to make arrests. Whenever we ask for additional information, they voluntarily come before investigators," he said.

Meanwhile, Malang Post LBH Coordinator Daniel Siagian said two of the six demonstrators arrested by the police during a demonstration of the TNI Law yesterday were minors.
"We received information that at around 19.30 WIB yesterday someone was arrested, after we confirmed two of them were minors, they were still students," he said.
The two minors, he said, had been sent home along with one student.
"The progress has been completed by three, one student and two students," he said.
Meanwhile, three other demonstrators are still undergoing the examination process by investigators at the Malang City Police Headquarters.
"Three more people have not yet, because the police said there was a follow-up examination. The examination is in accordance with the procedure, as well as the progress of deepening and BAP according to all procedures," said Daniel.
