Pramono Anung Asks KPK To Supervise Budget Planning To Procurement Of Goods And Services In Jakarta

JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said there were a number of discussions in a meeting with the leadership of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) today, Monday, March 24. One of them is related to supervision and assistance to prevent rasuah practices.

"I want everything to be done to provide assistance, comprehensive supervision starting from planning, budgeting and then procurement of goods and services, public services and matters related to regional property," Pramono told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, March 24.

In addition, the monitoring center for prevention (MCP) was also discussed by Pramono with the head of the anti-corruption commission.

As for the closed meeting, the PDI-P politician (PDIP) was met by KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto along with his representatives, Agus Joko Pramono and Johanis Tanak.

"I really want that the Jakarta government that I lead in this corruption issue has a significant improvement," he said.

"For this reason, we will open ourselves up, even some whose supervision may be less open, later we will open it up, especially those related to regional-owned enterprises," he continued.

Meanwhile, KPK Secretary General Cahya H. Harefa said there were a number of things conveyed by the head of the anti-corruption commission. "This includes the procurement of goods and services," he said.

"Then also things that may have happened in other provinces, were also conveyed so that it doesn't happen in Jakarta," concluded Cahya.
