JAKARTA - The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) has officially prepared two schemes of the New Student Admission System (SPMB) for the National Integrated School (SNT). This track is designed specifically to recruit 80 prospective students who have achieved excellence at the SMP and SMA levels.
The Minister of Basic and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen), Abdul Mu'ti, explained that prospective SNT students are learners who have above-average abilities in the district/city organizing areas. Therefore, all selection processes will be handled directly by a special team at the national level, not the local government.
"For the first year, the Ministry of Education and Culture only received 40 new prospective students for the SMP level and 40 for the SMA level. Each level only opens two study groups (rombel)," said Abdul Mu'ti in Jakarta, Monday (20/7/2026).
Two SPMB Selection Schemes for National Integrated Schools (SNT)
The Director General of the PAUD Dasmen PNFI Kemendikdasmen, Gogot Suharwoto, revealed two registration scheme mechanisms offered for prospective students:
The scheme of the proposed Education and School Department The district/city education department maps the database of top-ranking outstanding students (academic and non-academic). Each school in the district/city concerned is asked to propose the 5 best students from the middle school and high school levels. The selected students proposed will undergo a further selection phase in the form of administrative selection and Scholastic Test. Invitation to the Puspresnas Scheme The second scheme is given through an official invitation channel that is addressed directly to outstanding children. The data of the invitation recipients refers to the official track record of the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas) in each organizing area.Continuous Curriculum System: From Junior High School Directly to High School
Gogot added that the SNT program implements an integrated and sustainable curriculum concept. This means that students who are successfully accepted into the SNT Junior High School will automatically continue to the SNT High School.
"The curriculum is designed to be sustainable so that its development can be monitored in its entirety. Unless there is an empty quota when entering high school, we will open registration to fill the shortage," explained Gogot.
Registration and SPMB selection process for the National Integrated School (SNT) at the Junior High School and High School levels is open for a limited period, namely: Registration Date: July 21 - 24, 2026
