PAN Claims To Have The Best Cadre To Be Jokowi's Assistant In The Advanced Indonesia Cabinet

JAKARTA - Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN) is said to be getting ministerial seats from President Jokowi in volume 2 of the reshuffle.

However, so far PAN Party has stated that it has not officially accepted the cabinet's offer because the issue of accommodation is actually present from the public.

"PAN is still in the position of waiting for the palace. We have not yet received certain information regarding the appointment of ministers for the new posts of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology and the Ministry of Investment, or other ministries if the President does a reshuffle", said a member of the PAN faction of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Guspardi Gaus, Tuesday, April 20.

If asked, Guspardi assessed that his party had many of the best cadres to become ministers if President Jokowi asked PAN to join the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet.

"PAN is ready to contribute to the nation and country whatever the post is mandated. Whoever the person is for PAN, there is no problem", said Guspardi.

According to him, PAN supports the President in remodeling his cabinet for a better government. He believed that the decision to be taken by the President had already passed political considerations, the effectiveness in efforts to improve the cabinet's performance, for the advancement of the nation and state.

Guspardi said, PAN is really appreciated President Jokowi if he is invited to join forces to strengthen the government. However, he said, his party respects whatever the president's decision is made in the reshuffle.

"Whether or not to join the cabinet, PAN's position still supports pro-people policies. PAN still carries out the function of 'check and balance'", said Guspardi.
