Some sat beside the gas cylinders they brought, some also stood up and placed the gas cylinders on the side. They are willing to queue, for the sake of cooking at home.

As the weather cloudy on Monday morning, the faces of the queuers of gas canisters looked gloomy. They seem disappointed because they have to waste time just to get a gas cylinder. In fact, it is also not clear what agents are waiting to be able to serve it.

One of the catering traders from Dumpit, Bencongan Village, Tangerang Regency, Rudiyah admitted that he had to queue for gas even though the agent's location was far from his house.

No one is selling 3 kg retail gas cylinders anymore. The last time I bought it was January 20. The price also rose to 25 thousand. After that, I don't sell anymore," said Rudiyah when met at the location, Monday, February 3.

Rudiyah came from home to the gas cylinder agent since 06:30 WIB.

"From 7 o'clock in line. It's also not clear whether there is or not. But this was just told instead of 12 o'clock in the afternoon," he said.

As is known, Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Yuliot Tanjung said that as of February 1, 2025, LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) gas retailers who are subsidized as 3 kilograms must register to become LPG bases of 3 kg Pertamina.

"The retailer, we will use it as a base, as of February 1," said Yuliot, Friday, January 31.
