Cowboy At The Jagorawi Toll Road Rest Area Arrested By Polda Metro Jaya Members

JAKARTA - The driver of the minibus with the number B 2379 UIA, who pointed a firearm at a gas station employee at the KM10 Cibubur Rest Area, Jagorawi Toll Road, East Jakarta, was finally arrested by the police on Thursday, January 23.

"(The perpetrator) has been caught by the Regional Police," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when confirmed.

The perpetrator was arrested by the Dirkrimum Polda Metro Jaya team after CCTV footage of the viral incident and the victim made a police report.

"Yes, he has been arrested. Please contact the Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the Regional Police," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a middle-aged man in a black shirt driving a minibus with license plate B 2379 UIA was involved in an argument with a gas station employee at the KM10 Cibubur Rest Area, Jagorawi Toll Road, East Jakarta, Thursday, January 23.

The stabbing was caused because the driver of the car could not fill Pertalite fuel because the car had not beencoded. So the gas station employee suggested that the driver fill the Pertamax fuel if there was no barcode.

However, apparently the statement by the gas station employee made the driver of the car who kept the hat belonging to the police officer furious. The perpetrator was also angry until finally a fight broke out between them.

The perpetrator finally pointed a firearm (Senpi) and wanted to hit the victim using a gun handle. The perpetrator is allegedly annoyed that he was not allowed to fill Pertalite even though he had displayed a police hat on the dashboard in front of his car.

After pointing a gun, the perpetrator then got into the car and ran away. Meanwhile, the victim, a gas station employee, made a police report on the incident of threatening the gun to the Cipayung Police.
