JAKARTA - President Volodymy Zelensky on Sunday asked the Allies to keep all arms supply promises for Ukriana, including those aimed at countering Russian airstrikes.

President Zelensky said over the past week Russian troops had launched hundreds of attacks on Ukraine, with nearly 700 aerial bombs and more than 600 unmanned aircraft being deployed.

Ukraine's air defenses dropped 60 out of 94 unmanned aircraft launched by Russia overnight, the air force said on Sunday.

It said about 34 drones were "lost", referring to the use of Ukraine's electronic warfare to direct Russian drones.

"Every week, the Russian war continues simply because the Russian army maintains its ability to terrorize Ukraine and exploit its advantages in the air," President Zelensky said on Telegram.

He called on Ukrainian allies to fulfill the agreement that had been made.

"The decisions made at the NATO summit in Washington, as well as the decisions adopted during Ramstein's meeting on air defense for Ukraine, have not yet been fully implemented," President Zelensky said.

Earlier, President Zelensky last week said he had discussed with partners and the United States the possibility of granting Ukraine a license to produce air defense and missile systems.
