Bambang Pacul On PDIP Opposition: Ketum Authority

JAKARTA - Chairman of the PDI-P Bappilu Bambang Wuryanto or Bambang Pacul was reluctant to comment on the statement of Presidential Candidate number 3, Ganjar Pranowo, who refused to become a minister and chose to be outside the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government.

"Well, if you ask Mas Ganjar, how come I was asked to comment? Indeed, I am a commentator," said Bambang Pacul at the DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, March 28.

However, Bambang emphasized that the position of PDIP's struggle was entirely under the authority of the general chairman of PDIP, Megawati Soekarnoputri, including the PDIP's stance on whether to choose to be inside or outside the government.

"That the PDI-P issue will join the government and cooperate or outside the government, that is the authority of the general chairman in accordance with the decision of the Congress," he said.

"If the ketum then decides we will be in position X, for example, yes, we will follow that. So it is not in our position to argue, we are not observers," added the Chairman of Commission III of the DPR.

Bambang did not know anything about Megawati's instructions that would only come out after the dispute trial decision at the Constitutional Court (MK).

"Well, I don't know," he said.

Previously, Presidential Candidate number 3Ganjar Pranowo confirmed that he would remain outside the government if offered to join the Prabowo-Gibran cabinet. However, he said that currently there has been no ministerial offer.

"Who has disbursed the information? No one has offered it yet," said Ganjar at the Constitutional Court building, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, March 27.

Previously, Ganjar assessed that if they remained outside the government, there would be checks and balances.

"If I was outside, maybe it would be much better because checks and balances would definitely happen and more great ones in their respective groups, especially if we look at a lot of teams or political parties that support the candidate pairs, they must also have hope," said Ganjar, Tuesday, March 26.
